The violent storms Over Mazovia have resulted in numerous disruptions and material losses. Emergency services have been called out more than 100 times to deal with the effects of the natural disaster.

Regional Issues

Intense rainfall, strong winds, and atmospheric discharges have been the norm in the Mazovian voivodeship. Flooding, fallen trees, and building damages have been reported in numerous locations.

Sidosl Incident

The worst conditions have been witnessed in Siedlce, where flooding caused by the storms has led to local flooding. The streets have been inundated by water, some being rendered completely impassable. Local authorities are working to restore road access.

Ciechanów District Problems

The Ciechanów district has reported the most calls, with strong wind gusts causing the roofs of two buildings to be torn off.

Garwolin Church Lightning Strike

In Garwolin, lightning struck a church, specifically a cross. Firefighters intervened and secured the building to assess the risk, which was found to be minimal.
