New Poll Brings New Woes for Coalition Partners

A new poll shows significant popularity shift as Civic Platform’s Donald Tusk nearly stands alone, with only four parties in the Sejm.

New Poll Results

The latest survey, conducted by IBRiS and commissioned by Rzeczpospolita, revealed that Law and Justice (PiS) maintains a slight lead over Civic Platform (KO), with 30.6% and 29.9% respectively of participants indicating their preference. The difference between the two parties is minimal, with PiS leading by just 0.7 percentage points.

Parties Below The Threshold

The remaining parties on the podium include the Confederation with a result of 15.1%, just enough for one more party, the Left, to enter the Sejm with 8% of participants’ support. The other parties below the threshold are Together (3.7%), PSL (3.6%), Confederation of the Polish Crown (2.8%), and Poland 2050 (2.1%). 4.2% of participants were undecided.

Election Participation

The poll also examined voter participation with 59.4% of participants indicating they would vote. Out of those, 43.2% said they would definitely vote, and 16.2% said they would “rather” participate in voting. However, 22.5% of participants indicated they would definitely not vote, and 17% indicated they would “rather not” vote. 1.1% of participants chose the option “I don’t know.”
