During his visit to the Vatican on September 4th, Polish President Karol Nawrocki was greeted by Bishop Krzysztof Nykiel, regent of the Papal Pardon. The meeting was spiritual in nature, with the President taking his family through the Holy Doors of St. Peter’s Basilica, where they laid a wreath at the tomb of St. John Paul II and prayed.

Additionally, while in Rome, Karol Nawrocki met briefly with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, discussing important international events and expressing mutual support for efforts to establish lasting and just peace in Ukraine. The stabilization of the situation in the Middle East and the ongoing Russian aggression were also key points of discussion during their brief encounter.
