Sikorski Criticizes Lack of Post-Trump-Nawrocki Meeting Notes

Polish politician Radosław Sikorski criticized the absence of Ministry of Foreign Affairs involvement in White House meeting notes, stating, “Professionalism should not be secondary to factionalism.”

Nawrocki-Trump Meeting Update

Karol Nawrocki met with Donald Trump at the White House on September 3rd. Initially, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was notified that no notes would be provided regarding his visit to the US. Eventually, Trump administration officials clarified that the meeting notes had been prepared and delivered to the Polish government.

Tusk’s Criticism of Note Delay

Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosacki commented on the delayed delivery of meeting notes, stating that the notes should have been delivered before Donald Tusk’s meeting with European leaders in Paris on 4th September.

Presidency Office’s Note Request

The Presidency Office is still awaiting notes from Donald Tusk’s meetings with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Moldavian President Maia Sandu in Kishinev on August 27th.
