Warsaw Praski Night Half Marathon and Praska 5K Preview: Full Traffic Restrictions

This weekend, the Wizz Air Warsaw Praski Night Half Marathon and accompanying Praska 5K Run will transform parts of the city, with traffic restrictions starting Friday afternoon and impacting major routes through the night.

Traffic Restrictions Commence Friday Evening

From 6 pm on Friday, all public access to the race routes will be prohibited, with changes planned on key bridges and alternative public transit routes established. Entry to the park grounds at PGE National Stadium will also be restricted from Friday evening, with a complete ban on vehicles from Saturday morning through Monday afternoon.

Race Schedule and Restricted Routes

The Praska 5K Run will begin at 7:30 pm, with participants running a loop featuring key landmarks. The half marathon follows at 8:30 pm, winding through central Warsaw and crossing the Wisła River. All running routes will remain closed throughout the event.

Bridge Closures and Alternative Routes

The Świętokrzyski Bridge will close at 7 pm and reopen by 9:30 pm, with vehicles redirected. The Poniatowski Bridge, another critical racing route, will temporarily deny eastbound traffic late into the night, with diversions for local residents planned.
