A tragic accident in Lubuskie, Poland, claimed the life of a 5-year-old child yesterday when the bus he was on collided with a roadside barrier.
Deadly Lubuskie Bus Crash
According to an accident report from the 6th of September, a bus veered off the road on the national route 27 outside Żary and Nowa Sól, resulting in the death of a 5-year-old child and injuries to four other passengers. Initial reports suggested the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Emergency Response
The local fire department and rescue helicopters responded to the scene. Five people were injured in the crash. The child was airlifted to Krakow’s hospital where CPR attempts were made.

In the five days between September 1st and 5th, there were 393 accidents in Poland, resulting in 22 fatalities and 445 injured individuals. According to police reports, 95 accidents occurred on September 5th alone, with six fatalities.
