A 44-year-old driver and his 4-year-old child were hospitalized Thursday after a Mercedes veered off the road near Stanisławów while overtaking, flipped several times, and hit a guardrail.
Accident Details
The Mercedes left the road on Wołomińska Street in Stanisławów while attempting to overtake. After traveling approximately 100 meters, the car struck a guardrail with considerable force.
Injuries and Emergency Response
The 44-year-old driver was unconscious and required emergency medical evacuation by helicopter. The 4-year-old passenger remained conscious throughout the incident and received immediate attention from medical rescue teams.
Investigation and Measures
Police secured the scene for about three hours while investigating the cause of the accident. They plan to determine if the passengers were wearing seatbelts and whether advanced modifications to the vehicle’s engine control system played a role.
