Polish journalist Katarzyna Stoparczyk, known for her programs “Myśl Dziecka” and “Dzieci wiedzą lepiej,” died in a car crash Friday on the S19 expressway near Jeżowe in Podkarpackie.
Fatal Accident Details
Police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred on Friday (5 September) near Jeżowe. An automobile rear-ended another vehicle as it tried to exit at a Miejsce Obsługi Podróżnych. The crash claimed the lives of two people, including Katarzyna Stoparczyk.
Preliminary Findings
Policja spokeswoman Katarzyna Pracało confirmed that Katarzyna Stoparczyk was traveling in a car driven by an intoxicated man who had zero alcohol in his breath. Despite this, his blood was taken for testing.
The blood of the second driver was also taken, as he could not be tested on the scene due to his health condition.
