A Mercedes sedan caught fire near Gwiazdsta Street on the S8 highway according to witnesses who used 30-40 fire extinguishers to put out the fire before professional firefighters arrived.
Fire in Engine Compartment
The fire originated in the vehicle’s engine compartment. Drivers passing by first noticed the flames and activated their own fire extinguishers. They managed to stop traffic and call for additional assistance.
Road Closure
The road was closed temporarily while the incident was being handled. One lane of traffic in each direction remained blocked, causing significant delays in the area.
