Polish President and Former President Trump’s Meeting
During his meeting with former US President Donald Trump, Polish President Andrzej Duda publicly dismissed Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski’s approach to diplomacy while in the White House.
Nawrocki’s Rebuke of Sikorski
Polish President Andrzej Duda directly addressed Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski’s approach to diplomatic matters in his discussions with former US President Donald Trump. In his post on social media, Duda criticized Sikorski for his focus on selfies in front of US government buildings, stating, “It’s not about your good – although it’s a concerning way – but about the country’s affairs.”
Giertych’s Support for Duda
Roman Giertych, a member of the Civic Coalition, echoed Duda’s critiques and even questioned Sikorski’s professionalism in handling sensitive diplomatic matters, stating, “For example, [Sikorski] wouldn’t say ‘two kids died in a car crash,’ he would say ‘the pilot who died left behind two children.'”
