Warsaw Police Officer Catches Intoxicated BMW Driver in Service

A Warsaw police officer, while on duty, caught an intoxicated 24-year-old BMW driver with a blood alcohol level of nearly 1.5 promiles, leading to his license being revoked and potential imprisonment of up to three years.

Driver’s Unprofessional Behavior

A 24-year-old driver of a BMW was observed making unclear and dangerous maneuvers at Puławska Street, posing a threat to other road users.

Immediate Police Action

The officer, part of the General Affairs Department’s Control Unit, took immediate and safe action, preventing the driver from continuing their journey and informing the Warsaw Ursynów Police Station Duty Officer.

Resulting Consequences

After a brief investigation, the driver was charged with driving under the influence and lost his driving license. He faces up to three years in prison.
