Drunk BMW Driver Hits Utility Pole in Otwock, Flees Scene

A drunk driver struck a utility pole while driving a BMW in Otwock before fleeing the scene and losing his ID. The 20-year-old was later apprehended.

Incident Occurrence

On the night of September 7th, at approximately 1:25 AM, a driver operating a BMW struck a pole and fled the scene on ulica Kraszewskiego in Otwock.

Apprehension and Testing

Several hours later, officers located the 20-year-old suspect at his residence. Field sobriety tests revealed the presence of both alcohol (0.31 mg/l in exhaled breath) and marijuana in his system.

Evidence and Investigation

The BMW was impounded and examined. The driver’s ID, found at the scene, aided in quickly identifying and locating the suspect.
