A garage explosion in Kazimierz Biskupi, Wielkopolska, injured a man and his six-year-old son on Saturday around 5:30 PM, local authorities said.

A hazardous event occurred on September 6th at approximately 5:30 PM in Kazimierz Biskupi, located in Wielkopolska region. According to emergency services, an explosion took place within a metal garage.

Casualty Information

Two people were injured, later identified as a father and his son. The adult suffered serious burns while the child had minor injuries.

Cause Investigation

The explosion was caused by a container with foam used for heating that ignited, according to the fire department spokesperson from Poznań. The father received treatment at a hospital via air medical transport, while his son was transported by paramedics with less severe burns.
