Polish artist Kazik faces controversy over song targeting Presidential candidate Biedroń

Polish rapper Kazik Staszewski has published a song titled “Będziesz wisiał Biedroń,” or “You’ll Be Hung Biedroń,” facing backlash for lyrics targeting presidential candidate Robert Biedroń.

America honors deceased Polish pilot

America marked the passing of a Polish pilot with a special fly-by involving F-16 jets at the White House, a gesture that began with a meeting between Karol Nawrocki and President Donald Trump.

Controversial Facebook post by Biedroń

A photo of Biedroń on Facebook was later deleted, showing him observing the fly-by with the caption: “Border patrol” at his post. Spokesman Lukasz Michnik described it as a “poor, unfunny joke by one of Robert Biedroń’s assistants.”

Kazik’s response to the controversy

Staszewski responded to the backlash by sharing a video of his song, stating, “In the face of such absurdity and sheer shame, I am compelled to recreate a song by a popular entertainer.”
