Drone Found Near Poland-Belarus Border

Polish police confirmed a drone found in Poland near the Belarusian border on August 8th in Polatycze, triggering security concerns.

First Drone Discovery

Polish authorities confirmed a drone discovered on August 8th, 2022, approximately 22:00 in Polatycze—located near the Poland-Belarus border crossing at Terespol (Lublin Voivodeship). Officers from the Border Guard reported the incident and notified the local police station. No injuries were reported.

Second Drone Incident

In Majdan-Sielec, another unidentified object was found on September 6th, 2022. Investigations revealed it to be a drone primarily composed of Styrofoam-like materials. Officials reported electronic components connected to a gasoline engine and fragments of handwritten writings found in the remains.
