Former Minister Adam Niedzielski Convicted

The Warsaw District Court has permanently convicted former Polish Health Minister Adam Niedzielski. The court rejected the defense’s appeal against the initial suspended sentence, which included three months probation over two years and a public publication of the verdict.

Violation of Privacy Law

Niedzielski was found guilty of leaking health data through mass media, specifically sharing information about prescribed medications, the recipient, and his own health status via a personal social media profile. This violation occurred while he held the office of Health Minister.

Alcohol and Lack of Memory

The two men aged 35 and 39, who have admitted to the charges of assaulting Niedzielski, claim they do not remember the incident due to their intoxicated state at the time.
