Polish airspace violated: Tusk comments as drones shot down, operation ongoing

Polish military intercepted drones violating the country’s airspace early Wednesday morning, initiating an ongoing operation to identify and neutralize the intruding objects.

Polish Military Operation

Polish military units, including forces from the Netherlands and Italy, responded to multiple breaches of Poland’s airspace. The operation to identify and neutralize the drones is currently underway.

Prime Minister’s Response

Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed the operation on his X platform. He stated that Poland’s airspace had been violated multiple times by drone objects and that they were in direct contact with the Commander of the Operational Forces.
