Polish Defense Ministry Discusses Russian Drone Incursion Over Poland

Polish military officials address the recent incident of 15 Russian drones flying over the country.

Initial Assessment

Polish Lieutenant Colonel Andrzej Lewandowski described the incident as “an act of enmity” and stated, “I don’t think they were targeting anything specific in Poland. I doubt they were interested in provoking an open confrontation.”

Response Discussion

Lewandowski emphasized the need for a clear response: “otherwise, we would only increase the chances of a repeat.” He noted that while the incursion wasn’t entirely unexpected, Poland’s response showed effectiveness in detecting and countering the drones.
