Polish Government Holds Emergency Meeting After Drone Incursions

The Polish government held an emergency meeting following overnight drone incursions into the country’s airspace, resulting in the successful interception of all unidentified objects. No one was harmed in the incidents, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced.

Drone Interceptions Successful

During the emergency meeting, Prime Minister Tusk confirmed that all necessary procedures had been activated. “I can say that this first exam we passed,” Tusk stated, commending both military personnel and allied forces for their successful interception efforts.

No Injuries or Damage

Tusk informed that no injuries or casualties were reported during the incident. Tragic attempts are underway to locate the wreckage of the shot down drones.

Airports Begin to Reopen

The closure of airports was not due to attacks on the facilities but was necessary for operational needs of our pilots. Airports will be systematically reopened as the situation stabilizes, he added.
