Russian Drones Over Poland: White House Signals Concern

U.S. officials are closely monitoring the Polish airspace breach, with a spokeswoman confirming that President Trump will speak with Polish President Andrzej Duda about the incident later on Wednesday.

U.S. and Polish Political Reactions

Former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence called for increased military support for Ukraine and Eastern Europe, saying “the repeated breaches of NATO airspace by Russian drones should serve as a warning that Vladimir Putin is testing our resolve to defend Poland and the Baltic states.”

NATO Response

Poland officially requested the activation of NATO’s Article 4, due to repeated breaches of Polish airspace by Russian drones. Sources confirmed that the Secretary General of the alliance acknowledged the request.
