The incident occurred during Russia’s massive attack on targets in Ukraine. Though some drones were shot down, others may have fallen and are being searched for. U.S. Representative’s Remarks
U.S. Representative Joe Wilson commented on the violation, stating, “Russia is attacking a NATO ally, Poland, using Iranian Shahed drones less than a week after President Trump hosted President Nawrocki at the White House. This is an act of war,” he said, praising NATO allies for their swift response against unprovoked aggression from war criminal Putin.”

Before 6:00 p.m. Polish time, President Trump posted on social media about incidents where his image was displayed with flags in New York state and relations with India, but did not address the violation of Polish airspace.
