Warsaw Metro Breakdown Affects Stations on M1 Line

Technical issues forced Warsaw Metro Line M1 to suspend operations between Stokłosy and Politechnika stations on Wednesday, affecting multiple stations and requiring bus replacements.

Temporary Service Shutdown

The metro system announced the suspension of Line M1 operations due to technical problems between the Stokłosy and Politechnika stations. Passengers were left without service on the nearly 7-mile section between these two stations.

Affected Stations

The following six stations were closed: Ursynów, Służew, Wilanowska, Wierzbno, Racławicka, and Pole Mokotowskie.

Bus Replacement Service

As per the Warsaw Public Transport announcement, a replacement bus service was activated to accommodate affected passengers. The bus route covered the affected metro line, connecting various stops including Metro Stokłosy, Metro Politechnika, K.E.N., and other key locations.
