29-year-old driving ban violator arrested following chase in Myszyniec

Police in Myszyniec, Poland, arrested a 29-year-old man after he led them on a car chase following his violation of a court-mandated driving ban.

Pursuit and Capture

On Tuesday (September 9), police in Myszyniec observed a Volkswagen engaging in suspicious maneuvers on the road. In response, they attempted to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop.

Escalation of Evading

The driver, however, ignored the police sirens and lights and began fleeing in the Volkswagen. Police officers pursued him.

Status of the Vehicle and Perpetrators

At some point, the Volkswagen driver lost control of the vehicle, driving it into a roadside ditch. The driver and his passenger then attempted to flee on foot. However, after running for several dozen meters, the two men were apprehended and apprehended by police.

Identification and Charges

The driver, a 29-year-old resident of Ostrołęka County, had his license revoked and was under a court-ordered ban on driving mechanical vehicles. Additionally, he was sought to serve a prison sentence.

Narcotics Found in Passenger’s Possession

In the passenger’s car, a 32-year-old Ostrołęka County resident, police found MDMA (Mephedrone). Both men were arrested and detained in a police cell and heard the charges.
