Ukraine Offers Air Defense Assistance After Polish Drone Attack
Following a night attack by Russian drones on Poland, Volodymyr Zelesnky offered Poland assistance in building an advanced early warning and defense system against drones. He emphasized Ukraine’s readiness to share experiences and technology related to countering aerial threats.
Proposal for Unified Air Defense System
Ukraine has offered to create a common air defense system. President Zelesnky stated, “Ukraine is willing to share information about the intrusion of Russian drones into the airspace and help build a better warning system.” He added that the use of fighter jets from various countries to shoot down Russian drones carries significant importance.
Ukraine’s In-House Approach
Zelensky highlighted Ukraine’s developed internal approach to repelling Russian attacks and its ability to provide guidance to its allies in these matters. He mentioned that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has already agreed to send military experts to Ukraine on this matter.
