Voluntary Military Service Details
The voluntary military service consists of a basic 27-day training program, followed by specialized training lasting up to 11 months for those who pledge their oath. Participants are provided with accommodation, meals, and equipment, and may even acquire licenses like C+E driver’s license or become machinery operators.
Financial Incentives Provided
The military offers generous benefits during training, including a monthly salary of 6,300 PLN ($1,500), 2 days of leave for every 30 days of service, free meals, health insurance, and uniforms. The opportunity to apply for full-time military service is also available.
The curriculum includes subjects such as military training, terrain recognition, tactics, weapons training, survival, vehicle operation, and first aid.
Territorial Defense Force Option
Interested individuals can also consider joining the Territorial Defense Force, which involves a basic training program followed by rotating weekend drills. Participants are entitled to a daily salary (177 PLN minimum for privates) and a monthly readiness bonus of 630 PLN.
