Polish President Karol Nawrocki visits the 31st Tactical Air Force Base in Krzesin as Poland reacts to Russian drone violations of its airspace.

President’s Address on Russian Provocation

Stressing the historical significance and ongoing military drills at the 31st Tactical Air Force Base, President Karol Nawrocki emphasized, “We are sending a signal to the Russian Federation and Vladimir Putin. The Polish nation has never been subservient to the Soviet soldier, whether in 1920 or during the nearly 50 years of Soviet propaganda that turned Poland into a colony. However, we preserved our freedom and independence because of remarkable Polish pilots and allied pilots in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.”

Premier’s Visit to Łas突ki Base

Earlier, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited the 32nd Tactical Air Force Base in Łas突ki. He praised the pilots and soldiers, saying, “What happened the previous night has shown to everyone, without exception, the crucial role of having you: pilots, soldiers, and officers who guard our Polish skies… It is not training, a demonstration, or a maneuver but direct air action aimed at protecting our homeland and the safety of our citizens.”
