What to Do During a Drone Attack

Alarm the recording if you hear a low noise resembling the sound of a Roma vacuum cleaner engine – act immediately. Within 30 seconds, it could be over your roof.

When indoors, prioritize distancing yourself from windows as shrapnel glass shatters like razors. The window may seem like the safest place, but you should move as far away as possible, ideally towards the center of your home. There should be at least two load-bearing walls between you and the street.

If you are outside, take shelter behind any concrete wall, fence, or sturdy structure, as vegetation will not provide protection.

Important Items to Have on Hand

In case of an attack, you have only a few seconds to survive. Do not underestimate this threat!

Search for Drone Remnants Continues

Over 600 police and firefighters are supporting military efforts to locate 19 drones that entered Poland since September 11. Over 400 officers, including 17 explosive specialists from the Police Counter-Terrorist Units, are taking part in the operation.

207 firefighters from both the State and Volunteer Fire Brigades are also involved in the search for the drones. Authorities from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Military joined forces to find and secure the remains. Alarm has been declared for police units in the Podlaskie, Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, and Mazowieckie garrisons, involving over 13,000 officers.
