Kaczynski Rejects Confederation Coalition with PiS

Prime Minister Kaczynski sharply criticized the possibility of a coalition between Law and Justice and the Confederation, stating, “If there’s no miracle.”

Criticism of Confed Coalition

Speaking at a 12 September press conference, Jaroslaw Kaczynski expressed his skepticism about a potential coalition between the Law and Justice party (PiS) and the Confederation in 2027, saying, “If there’s no miracle in the form of a complete change of views, I don’t see any of these possibilities.”

Party Divergence

“How can a party, like ours, which created the mechanism of real social solidarity, cooperate with a party that presents ideas of social Darwinism, which are terrible in every aspect and contemporary?” Kaczynski questioned. “These are dreams that mostly come from young men who would want to live in a world where they have everything and no one else matters.”

Mentzen Responds

Sławomir Mentzen stated that a coalition with Kaczynski’s party would be impossible, writing on X, “In one case, Kaczynski dreams, in reality, we are on opposite sides of the barricade.”
