Polish Prime Minister’s aide Marcin Przydacz commented on Trump’s suggestion that some drones breached Polish airspace by accident, requesting further investigation.
Polish Defense Capacity
Przydacz highlighted that President Trump was informed of Poland’s extensive defense capabilities and the full information on surveillance services. He added that Poland maintains a comprehensive defense system capable of neutralizing threats within its territory.
Accidental Intrusion Speculation
Przydacz suggested the possibility of accidental airspace breaches by a few drones amidst the hybrid warfare conducted by Russia against NATO. “We need to investigate whether all of these drones were indeed sent by Russia,” he remarked, adding that some could have entered Poland unintentionally.
Trump’s Statements
In response to the airspace intrusion, U.S. President Trump emphasized that the drones were intercepted and should not be near Poland at all. Trump’s patience with Russia’s Vladimir Putin is running out, and he warned of decisive actions against Russia if necessary.
