Explosion in Madrid Cafe Leaves 21 Injured

At least 21 people were injured, including three critically, after a bomb blast partially collapsed a cafe roof in Madrid’s southern-central Vallecas district at 15:00 local time.

Civilians raced to help after the explosion that caused significant damage to the establishment, with effort focused on rescue operations and stabilization of the site.

Causes of Explosion Unknown

Emergency services said they do not yet know the cause of the explosion, and the situation remains grave. Authorities have deployed sniffer dogs and drones to assist in the rescue efforts.

Conditions of Victims

According to Euronews, three people sustained critical injuries and two others suffered from serious conditions, while the remainder had lesser injuries.
