Polish Soldier in Ukraine Appeals to Countrymen for Support

A 18-year-old Pole who went missing when he joined Ukraine’s army has resurfaced and urged fellow citizens to take up arms against Russian aggression.

Polish Soldier Joins Airborne Brigade

Wojciech Antoni, an 18-year-old from Poznan, left Poland to fight in the war against Russia six months ago.

Reason for Enlisting

Antoni explained that he joined in order to “save lives, protect them from Russian invaders, fight against Russia’s invasion, and fight for Europe.”

Urgent Appeal to Countrymen

In his appeal, Antoni said, “For Poland, it’s very important that Ukraine fights the Russians, because we’re next in line. We’re the next country after Ukraine. If Ukraine falls, Poland will have to fight and bleed its people to stop the Russians.”
