A bus overturned on Poland’s S8 highway near Trzcianka, blocking the route; two passengers self-evacuated and are being treated by medics.
Incident Details
The accident occurred at approximately 15:30. Initial investigations suggest the driver lost control of the bus and collided with crash barriers, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side.
Emergency Response
Four firefighting units were dispatched to the scene: two from Wyszków’s Rescue and Firefighting Unit and one each from Trzcianka and Brańszczyk volunteer fire departments. Teams from medical rescue units and police were also on the scene.
Road Conditions
As a result of the incident, northbound traffic on the S8 highway to Białystok was completely blocked. Emergency services are working to clear the impact and restore traffic flow.
