Four Injured in Warsaw Crash Between Police Car and Taxi

A serious accident involving a police car and a taxi on Bemowo left four people, including two officers, injured during late-night hours on Lazurowa Street.

Collision Details

The incident occurred around 2:30 AM when a police vehicle entered the intersection on red lights after being dispatched on traffic signals and sirens. This resulted in a collision with a Toyota taxi that was providing passenger services.

Victims and Response

Initial investigations indicate that four individuals were injured in the accident – two officers and the two taxi passengers. All were handed over to medical rescue teams for treatment. Toxicological tests showed that both drivers were sober.

Response Teams and Road Closure

Firefighters, paramedics, and highway patrol officers responded to the scene. During the investigation, the road was completely blocked off to traffic.
