Car Crash on Reagan Roundabout causes Traffic Woes

A collision between a BMW and Toyota at the Reagan Roundabout resulted in no injuries but caused significant traffic disruptions in the Ursus, Wola, and city center areas.

Collision Details

On Monday, September 15th at approximately 4PM, a severe collision occurred at the intersection of Aleje Jerozolimskie and ulica Łopuszańska. The collision involved a BMW and a Toyota – one of the vehicles then collided with a lamppost and a signpost.

Police Investigation

The initial investigation revealed the BMW, travelling along Łopuszańska from the direction of Aleje Krakowskie, entered the roundabout on a red light, colliding with the Toyota that was moving along Aleje Jerozolimskie toward the city center. After the collision, one of the vehicles hit a lamppost and a pedestrian crossing marker.

Traffic Disruptions and Road Block

No injuries were reported. However, the collision resulted in major traffic disruptions: one lane in each direction was blocked, causing traffic jams both to the Ursus and Wola districts and towards downtown Warsaw.
