The Norwegian military’s Camp Jomsborg training base, located in southeastern Poland, is not public knowledge beyond its approximate location in this region. Named after a Viking factory from the era of the first Piast rulers, the base trains several hundred cadets and instructors.
Specialized Military Training
The Norwegian military conducts specialized training for Ukrainian soldiers, focusing on leadership and endurance in high-stress combat situations. Participants learn about the equipment NATO is providing to Ukraine, including advanced drones delivering equipment to the battlefield.
International Involvement
