Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski suggested establishing a no-fly zone over Ukraine to better protect against drone attacks during an interview with the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

Proposed No-Fly Zone Over Ukraine

Minister Sikorski highlighted the necessity of a no-fly zone over Ukraine that would prohibit any airborne movement within the designated area, with enforcement maintained by NATO and EU forces.

Poland Learning from Ukraine’s Experience

Sikorski underscored that Poland and other Western countries should learn from Ukraine’s experience in combating drone attacks, stating that they are not training Ukrainians but rather learning from them.

Magnetic Field Collision Zone in the Baltic Sea

The Polish minister also advocated for creating a magnetic field collision zone in the Baltic Sea to restrict the transportation of Russian oil using outdated tankers that often fail to meet safety norms and lack adequate insurance.
