Trump Calls Russia the Aggressor in Ukraine War, Warns of Consequences

President Trump revealed during Sunday interviews that approximately 8,000 soldiers have been killed from both Russia and Ukraine in the ongoing war, stating that the aggressor typically suffers greater losses.

Russia’s Role in Ukrainian War

Donald Trump commented on the casualties in the ongoing war in Ukraine during a recent interview, revealing that approximately 8,000 soldiers have been killed from both Russia and Ukraine. “When you’re the aggressor, you lose more,” Trump said, adding that “an attacker cannot expect sympathy when engaging someone 20 times their size.”

Trump Warns About Sancations

While discussing sanctions, Trump warned that Europe’s continued purchase of Russian oil may undermine the effectiveness of any sanctions imposed. He stated that he is willing to impose sanctions but believes Europe needs to match his actions.

EU Considering Prolonging Sanctions

Polskie Radio’s Brussels correspondent, Beata Płomecka, reported on Friday that EU countries have tentatively agreed to extend Russia sanctions for an additional six months. This decision was reached by member state ambassadors and is expected to be finalized within a few days.
