Belarusians Detained After Drone Seen Over Presidential Palace

Polish officials have questioned two Belarusian nationals who were arrested on suspicion of operating a drone that flew over the Belvedere Presidential Palace last Monday evening.

Interior Ministry Comments

Deputy Interior Minister Maciej Duszczyk told TVN24 that they had interviewed those believed to be controlling the drone, and that the individuals involved were indeed citizens of Belarus.

Dron Successfully Neutralized

Duszczyk revealed that authorities neutralized the drone by applying appropriate techniques that prevented it from continuing to fly. Details of the operation remain classified.
