Two people taken to hospital after city bus collision with motorcyclist on Warsaw’s Wisłostrada, near Poniatowski Bridge.
Accident Description
During morning rush hour on September 16, 2025 at 10:04 AM, a Suzuki motorcyclist and their passenger collided with a city bus on Wisłostrada near Poniatowski Bridge heading towards Mokotów. Both the motorcyclist and passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Accident Context
The accident occurred during ongoing construction work at the bridge, causing the bus to make a sharp left turn from the right lane after being unable to make the turn from the left lane. The bus driver failed to notice the motorcycle that was also traveling on the left lane, leading to the collision and motorcycle overturning.
Road Conditions
During rescue operations, traffic in the direction of Mokotów moved on only one lane of the roadway, causing minor traffic disruptions.
