Israeli airstrikes light up the night sky, with all types of Israeli aircraft flying low overhead. “It feels like the end of the world,” writes journalist Ahmed Dremli from Gaza. “The constant buzzing of Israeli drones and explosive flashes provide no respite throughout the night.”
Hamas Stronghold Destroyed
Tensions are high as residents in Gaza City report being exhausted, with no food or water left. “We are at the mercy of the situation,” said one resident of the Al-Ghafri tower which was targeted by Israeli forces. Another resident expressed concern over the displacement of homeless people moving towards the coast, unsure of where they will go.
U.N. Reports Evidence of Genocide
A UN Commission presented a report stating that Israel commits genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip with the intent to destroy Palestinians. “We have reached the conclusion that in the Gaza Strip, genocide is being committed and the responsibility lies with Israel,” the report stated.
