Kosiniak-Kamysz Denies Cover-Up Claims of Polish Rocket Blast in Wyryki

A Polish F-16 missile accidentally destroyed a home in Wyryki, Poland on September 10, with authorities initially hiding the incident involving a missile that malfunctioned in mid-air.

Polish Missile Destroys Home in Wyryki

On September 10, a Polish home in the Lubelszczyzna region was destroyed by a Polish F-16 AIM-120 AMRAAM missile that malfunctioned in mid-air. The Polish Ministry of Defense initially claimed the object was a Russian drone, but subsequently confirmed the missile’s origin and malfunction.

President and BBN Informing Out

Polska Gazeta “Rzeczpospolita” discovered the incident and reported that neither the President, Karol Nawrocki, nor the Polish National Security Bureau were informed of the incident initially. The Polish National Security Bureau confirmed that they were not properly informed and the matter was not discussed at the National Security Council.

Kosiniak-Kamysz Addresses Cover-Up Allegations

Premier Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz addressed the allegations of cover-up. Russia launched 19 drones, with several shot down, one of which caused the destruction in Wyryki. Poland denied any cover-up and stated that its military and intelligence services are conducting proper investigations and following protocols.
