Commemoration Events
On Wednesday, September 17, ceremonies will be held near the Monument to Those Who Fell and Were Murdered in the East to commemorate the 86th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s armed aggression against Poland.
The events start at 17:00.
Traffic Restrictions
On September 17, parking will be prohibited on both sides of Muranowska Street, with a sign indicating the possibility of towing vehicles at the owner’s expense.
Parking restrictions also apply to Bonifraterska Street, in front of the Polonia stadium, and opposite the Bonifraters’ church.
Street Closures and Diversions
From 14:00 to 22:00, Muranowska Street will be closed.
Traffic can be diverted via Dawidowskiego, Słomińskiego, and Międzyparkową streets, as well as Świętojerska and Andersa streets.
Bus lines 116 and 518 will follow the diversion routes.
Demonstration and Further Traffic Changes
A gathering is scheduled to take place in front of the Russian Federation Embassy on Belwederska Street from 15:00 to 21:00.
Depending on the number of participants, the police may decide to close the road, and bus lines 116, 166, 180, and 503 will take alternative routes.
