A massive fire broke out at a production and storage facility in Czeladz, Poland, on September 16, and was largely contained by midnight.
The fire occurred at a production and warehouse hall of the Thermatec company, located on Rzemieślnicza Street in Czeladz, Silesian Voivodeship. According to reports from “Dziennik Zachodni,” the company manufactures heat pumps. The facility is approximately 65 meters by 15 meters, with a separate administrative section of about 8 meters by 15 meters.
Initially, 13 firefighting units were dispatched to the scene. As the situation developed, additional forces and means were mobilized, including a group led by the provincial commander. Eventually, a total of 30 firefighting units from across the voivodeship were involved in extinguishing the fire. One firefighter suffered a hand injury during the operation.
By midnight, firefighters had managed to control the blaze, with some units remaining on site to monitor the area. The local municipal guard issued a warning, and the mayor advised residents of potential dangers.
