Zelensky’s Comments and Poland’s Response
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an interview with Sky News that Poland is not prepared for a massive Russian attack, citing the country’s experience with downing 700 out of 810 Russian drones.
Kosiniak-Kamysz countered that Zelensky’s words were “unnecessary and untrue,” emphasizing that Poland is capable of defending itself.

Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that Poland’s defense capabilities are strong and that the country has been supporting Ukraine and other NATO nations.
He also mentioned that Poland’s military has successfully neutralized Russian drones.

On September 9-10, Russian drones entered Polish airspace, prompting the Polish authorities to take action.
A building was damaged, but no one was injured, and Poland’s military took steps to down the drones.
