US President Donald Trump sent a letter to Poland’s Karol Nawrocki via the Polish embassy in Washington, which may be an official invitation to the G20 summit.
Trump’s Letter to Nawrocki
On Wednesday, September 17, RMF FM reported that the White House had sent a letter from Trump to Nawrocki through the Polish embassy in Washington, which had already been transmitted via diplomatic mail.
The content of the letter is unknown, but one theory suggests it could be an official invitation to the G20 summit in Florida.
Possible G20 Invitation
Nawrocki informed about the invitation to the G20 summit in Miami by Trump after a visit to the White House at the beginning of September.
The topic was also discussed by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Trump’s Statements on G20 Invitation
During a meeting with journalists, Trump was asked if only G20 member countries would be invited to the summit.
He replied that he would also invite other countries as observers, who would be able to express their opinions.
Trump mentioned that he had already invited Poland, as they had recently visited the White House.
