A food delivery scooter rider collided with a taxi on Warsaw’s Rondzie Daszyńskiego on Wola at 22:37, after the taxi driver suddenly cut across three lanes.
Circumstances of the Collision
According to initial findings, both the scooter and the taxi were initially traveling in the same direction. The taxi driver, providing person transport services, realized he needed to turn left and suddenly cut across three lanes, colliding with the scooter rider who was traveling correctly.
Immediate Response and Aftermath
The first responder on the scene was an ELE Taxi medic, who provided assistance to the injured party, secured the collision site, and notified the authorities. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries. The foreign national operating the scooter declined medical examination.
Police Response and Road Impact
The police held the perpetrator accountable at the scene, categorizing the incident as a road collision. As a result of the incident, three lanes towards Al. Jerozolimskich were temporarily blocked.
