A protest against parental alienation and discrimination against fathers in family courts is set to take place in Warsaw, Poland on September 19, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM.
Protest Details
The protest, titled “Parents and Grandparents Protest,” has been organized for Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM, starting at the Rotunda PKO in Warsaw. The organizers plan to march to the Prime Minister’s Office (KPRM) and the Ministry of Justice, highlighting the need for discussions on family law reform and real protection of a child’s relationship with both parents.
Goals and Postulates
The protest aims to draw attention to the issue of parental alienation, understood as psychological violence and social exclusion, and the difficulties in enforcing family court rulings regarding child visitations. The organizers demand changes in family law, the introduction of alternating custody, and sanctions for not executing court decisions and judgments in contact cases.
Guest Appearance
Paweł Kołodziej, a former boxer and president of the “Dziecko w rozstaniu” foundation, as well as a family mediator, is expected to speak at the event. He has publicly supported the initiative through various channels.
Route and Expected Duration
The participants will march through Marszałkowska, Świętokrzyska, and Nowy Świat streets, across the Three Crosses Square, and along the Ujazdowskie Avenues to the Prime Minister’s Office. They will then return to the Ministry of Justice, also via the Ujazdowskie Avenues. The event is expected to last until 4:00 PM.
