Polish General Sławomir Wojciechowski warns that preparations for war have become part of daily life, and Poland may not sleep peacefully for a long time due to tensions with Russia.
War Preparations Become Part of Daily Life
Polish military representative to NATO and EU committees, General Sławomir Wojciechowski, stated that while there is no clear indication of an imminent war with Russia, preparations for war have become a part of daily life. He emphasized the need to maintain a healthy mindset, avoiding both panic and complacency.
Concerns Over Russian Drone Incursions
Gen. Wojciechowski expressed concerns over Russian drones entering Polish airspace, stating that the “darkest scenario” would be if such incidents continue and escalate in scale. He emphasized the need for vigilance and preparedness.
Eastern Sentry Operation
The Eastern Sentry operation, which aims to integrate NATO’s air and land defense, is underway. Several countries have transferred their forces to Poland, and the operation is progressing rapidly, according to Gen. Wojciechowski.
