Polish Minister Confirms F-16 Rocket Hit Home in Wyryki

Tomasz Siemoniak, a Polish politician, confirmed that a rocket fired from an F-16 fighter jet likely damaged a home in Wyryki, Poland, in an incident related to a drone attack.

The damaged home in Wyryki was hit by a rocket fired from a Polish F-16 fighter jet, which was attempting to intercept a drone on September 10.

According to sources, the rocket had a guidance system malfunction, and the incident is being investigated by the Lublin District Prosecutor’s Office.

No one was injured in the incident, but the home and a nearby car were damaged.

Minister Siemoniak stated that the military has declared it will cover the damages and is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the incident, stating that the responsibility for the damage lies with those who launched the drone.

Politicians have reacted to the incident, with some criticizing the government’s handling of the situation.

Sławomir Mentzen wrote that the incident showed the inefficiency of using expensive missiles to intercept drones.

Mariusz Błaszczak, a former defense minister, accused the government of hiding the truth and fueling Russian propaganda.
