Białołęka Hosts “Run Across the Bridge” Event

On Sunday, September 21, participants will run 10 kilometers across the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge and through several streets in the Tarchomin neighborhood of Warsaw.

The “Run Across the Bridge” event, part of the Białołęcka Triada Biegowa series, will take place on Sunday, September 21. The 10-kilometer run will start and end next to the Galeria Północna shopping center. Runners will follow a route through several streets, including Szafrańców, Trakt Nadwiślański, Obrazkową, Świderską, Mehoffera, Nowodworską, and Odkrytą.

The streets on the route will be closed from around 10:30 AM, with traffic resuming gradually after the last runner passes. Some streets will reopen as early as 11:45 AM, while others may remain closed until around 12:30 PM. The Trakt Nadwiślański and Szafrańców streets will be closed longer due to a children’s run scheduled after the main event.

Parking will be prohibited on the streets along the route, including in designated parking bays. Pedestrians will only be allowed to cross at designated points and times, as indicated by police or event staff.

Several bus lines will be diverted or change stops between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM due to road closures. Affected lines include 126, 133, 152, 211, 516, and 518. Passengers should check alternative stops and routes in advance.
